Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angel Betadur took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Cristian Venceslao fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monasterio's protests and gave Cristian Venceslao a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute there was a penalty for Santa Paola. Omar Bertran stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Florencio Bermudez. 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Monasterio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Betadur to maneuver through the defense. Monasterio's Florencio Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Alvarez in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Blas Elixio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monasterio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santa Paola the free kick. A collision led to Monasterio getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Blas Elixio hit a great ball. Natalio Vela scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florencio Bermudez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Santa Paola's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Betadur came free, but Geronimo Eleazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Bermudez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Santa Paola fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Santa Paola's Honorato Montel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Monasterio's Florencio Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Alvarez in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Blas Elixio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Monasterio defense, Damian Alvarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Bermudez. The Monasterio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Bermudez should have stopped the shot. Monasterio's Florencio Bermudez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Vela in the 30th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Santa Paola's Osvaldo Onofre made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florencio Bermudez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 37 minutes into the match, Monasterio's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Onofre came free, but Florencio Bermudez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florencio Bermudez came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Paola's Damian Alvarez. But to his dismay, Damian Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Vela in the 44th minute of play forced Monasterio's goalkeeper Florencio Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Monasterio getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eulalio Quinito hit a great ball. Damian Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monasterio made a substitution. Filiberto Feo replaced Angel Betadur. After the first half Santa Paola were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Vela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Monasterio's Cristian Venceslao suffered a concussion after 55 minutes and had to leave the field. Damian Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Monasterio's Armando Dodorol was substituted for Cristian Venceslao. In the 57th match minute, Santa Paola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Alvarez to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the game, Natalio Vela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florencio Bermudez. Natalio Vela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Vela in the 68th minute of play forced Monasterio's goalkeeper Florencio Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Osvaldo Onofre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florencio Bermudez. That made the score 0-9 in the 69 minute of play. The supporters of Monasterio booed when Santa Paola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantino Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Eduardo Gonzales charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Paola's Damian Alvarez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florencio Bermudez. That made the score 0-10 after 76 minutes of play. In the 79th minute Natalio Vela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Bermudez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Bermudez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Vela in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes in the game Omar Bertran did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Osvaldo Onofre. If Damian Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Vela in the 96th minute of play forced Monasterio's goalkeeper Florencio Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Santa Paola could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Monasterio throughout the match.
