The referee ignored Barriales FC's protests and gave Hipolito Raymundo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Barriales FC's Hipolito Raymundo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Solís's Efrain Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cordarin in the 9th minute of play. Efrain Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Cordarin in the 11th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Evelio Rexino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Efrain Pello, 1-0. In the 24th match minute, Barriales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Cordarin to maneuver through the defense. Conrado Urtsua took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erasmo Olayo. Erasmo Olayo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Erasmo Olayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Urtsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Iurie Mureșan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Olayo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Erasmo Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Mureșan in the 39th minute of the match. Lisandro Michael charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lisandro Michael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, Barriales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Michael to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Urtsua in the 46th minute of play forced Barriales FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Barriales FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Solís were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iurie Mureșan to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Solís's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Richie came free, but Efrain Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Urtsua in the 54th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Conrado Urtsua arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 55th minute. If Iurie Mureșan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led Solís's Conrado Urtsua to fire away a dangerous shot which Erasmo Olayo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Richie in the 70th minute of play forced Solís's goalkeeper Efrain Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Flavio Cordarin notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Solís's Efrain Pello. Efrain Pello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Solís's Efrain Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Cordarin in the 74th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Iurie Mureșan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Solís's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barriales FC the free kick. A collision led to Solís getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Iurie Mureșan hit a great ball. If Iurie Mureșan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Lorenz in the 84th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Barriales FC's goalkeeper Erasmo Olayo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iurie Mureșan. Solís's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
