If Narciso Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Cordaro made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Aílton Antunes sent off a good shot on target. If Ruperto Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Guarda succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Roman Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Guarda in the 17th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Delmiro Firme took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roman Cordaro to make any attempt to save it. 25 minutes into the match, Tomás Guarda notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ALYTA's Roman Cordaro. Roman Cordaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ALYTA's Roman Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save ALYTA from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes, Edgard Nikola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ALYTA and the C. A. Lanús players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Antunes in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Tomás Guarda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Lanús's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Guarda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ruperto Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Cordaro was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Tomás Guarda capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomás Guarda really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. In the 44th minute of the match, Aílton Antunes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roman Cordaro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Cordarrel during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aílton Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes ALYTA got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Nikola. 52 minutes into the match, C. A. Lanús's Tomás Guarda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Cordaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Guido Cordarrel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, C. A. Lanús's goalkeeper Julio Rafe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Teofilio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Teofilio got free with Julio Rafe in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Tomás Guarda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, C. A. Lanús was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Frances to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Roman Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Jaen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jacinto Franco hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. If Herminio Rivero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Roman Cordaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Guarda, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
