Eugenio Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Nuñez having to interfere. Arnoldo Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Clis, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The throw-in from Julio Dorio in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ejercito Argentino's Jiří Fröhlich. Gervasio Berendique sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ejercito Argentino's goalkeeper Arnoldo Nuñez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Justino Puig's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Chuan was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The supporters of Club Ramon Santamarina booed when Ejercito Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Clis was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ejercito Argentino's Nicolas Jorrin got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Justino Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ejercito Argentino's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Chuan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robustiano Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Puig in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute, Gervasio Berendique reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoldo Nuñez. The goal made the score 1-1. After having played for 69 minutes, Justino Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ejercito Argentino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justino Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Robustiano Chuan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Gilesindo's late challenge caught a Ejercito Argentino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filomeno Gilesindo helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ejercito Argentino had won after a very even match.
