Cleto Lartaun's late challenge caught a Cululú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Lartaun helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Club Ramon Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Lartaun. Eugenio Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio Fernandez having to interfere. If Gervasio Berendique had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Lucas Kinsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Chuan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Bernat in the 18th minute of play. Club Ramon Santamarina's Robustiano Chuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ramon Santamarina from getting a goal against them. Roque Bernat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Chuan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cululú FC's zone, Gervasio Berendique stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Custódio Fernandez came out of the goal and Gervasio Berendique tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Roque Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Custódio Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Cliss short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Custódio Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
