Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaac Galindo kicked off to start the match. Nereo Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Oriche in the 2nd minute. In the 8th minute, Edgardo Daunte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alumni FC booed when Alanices was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, Alumni FC's Oscar Félix made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Beltza was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute of the match, Hermengildo Esquipula tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nereo Figueroa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nereo Figueroa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilio Senon in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Paulo Lertxun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alumni FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alanices the free kick. Nereo Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Estebe in the 40th minute of play. Victorio Estebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When Emilio Senon came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Alanices fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Senon couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Alanices's Abel Firmin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Eugenio Walme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rosendo Beltza having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustin Chabier got free with Rosendo Beltza in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Hermengildo Esquipula got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Estebe in the 64th minute of play forced Alumni FC's goalkeeper Nereo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Figueroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Hermengildo Esquipula scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Figueroa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edgardo Daunte charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Daunte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alanices getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Edgardo Daunte hit a great ball. Edgardo Daunte kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nereo Figueroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Esquipula in the 83rd minute of play. Nereo Figueroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Senon in the 86th minute of the match. If Emilio Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Senon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
