Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Horcones FC's Benicio Rufio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Modesto Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Tucumán's goalkeeper Patricio Jatsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Segio. After 10 played minutes Horcones FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Eguntsenti. Aurelio Cedro charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Cedro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Aurelio Cedro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Oliverios having to interfere. Evaristo Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Nicolas Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Modesto Oliverios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucumán. 33 minutes into the match, Tucumán's goal looked a bit too open when Anibal Mazuste came free, but Patricio Jatsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Oliverios came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Tucumán's Eliseo Dolfo. But to his dismay, Eliseo Dolfo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Evaristo Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Modesto Oliverios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Anastasio Bladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the game, Tucumán's Israel Chumo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Oliverios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicolas Ritchie to make the kick off. Nicolas Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Modesto Oliverios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anibal Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Evaristo Iraido reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Modesto Oliverios. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 62nd minute, Evaristo Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Israel Chumo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Arnaldo Joseph fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tucumán's protests and gave Arnaldo Joseph a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Tucumán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Joseph to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute Nicolas Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Oliverios having to interfere. Eliseo Dolfo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Modesto Oliverios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tucumán. Tucumán's Evaristo Iraido got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robustiano Ted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Modesto Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Jatsu having to interfere. Horcones FC's Modesto Oliverios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Horcones FC from getting a goal against them. Anastasio Bladi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over Tucumán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Horcones FC throughout the match.
