Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eustaquio Menendo started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Evaristo Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Tucumán's Evaristo Iraido ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michel Sampaio. Michel Sampaio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 10th minute Nicolas Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Israel Chumo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tucumán's Patricio Jatsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Menendo in the 15th minute of play. The throw-in from Norberto Macario in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tucumán's Cornelio Pierres. Evaristo Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Evaristo Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Menendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Patricio Jatsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Evaristo Iraido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucumán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Iraido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Iraido in the 36th minute of play. Florin Andone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Jatsu having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, Tucumán's Evaristo Iraido made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Sampaio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nunez Chico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Sampaio having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Ritchie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renshu's Michel Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Chico in the 53rd minute of play. Michel Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Renshu's zone, Nunez Chico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michel Sampaio came out of the goal and Nunez Chico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michel Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Sampaio having to interfere. Evaristo Iraido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Sampaio having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Evaristo Iraido put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Sampaio. In the 75th minute, Evaristo Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Renshu's Sergejus Juozapavicius got a free kick in the 77th minute. Michel Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Iraido in the 78th minute of play. Alfonso Bernal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tucumán's Nicolas Ritchie got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Cordearo made in the 90th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Eustaquio Menendo. If Evaristo Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tucumán fully deserved thier win.
