In a very dangerous position, a player in Günther fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Potrero FC a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Prospero Neron, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Günther 's Narciso Janpier. 0-1. Angelino Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Faustino Urtats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Fiz in the 16th minute of play forced Günther 's goalkeeper Narciso Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Potrero FC's goalkeeper Faustino Urtats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Indar. Domingos Atarratze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Faustino Urtats when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ciro Gartzi's shot from long distance in the 25th minute was not bad at all, but Potrero FC's Faustino Urtats knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Victor Innocenzio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Narciso Janpier having to make a save. Narciso Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Serapio in the 33rd minute of play. Bartolo Sansone kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Prospero Neron in the 35th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Narciso Janpier's left hand side. Eugenio Fiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Faustino Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Potrero FC's Eugenio Fiz got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Narciso Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Fiz in the 45th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Rozarius during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Potrero FC's Gilberto Rozarius got a free kick in the 47th minute. A hard shot by Paulo Acuña from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Faustino Urtats's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Indar to make the kick off. Günther were furious when Ciro Gartzi was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Günther :s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Potrero FC:s goal. In the 59th match minute, Günther was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Acuña to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 60 minutes, Prospero Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrero FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Neron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Faustino Urtats came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Günther 's Domingos Atarratze. But to his dismay, Domingos Atarratze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 69th minute, Marcial Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Narciso Janpier managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Potrero FC's Eugenio Fiz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Domingos Atarratze put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Faustino Urtats. Domingos Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Ricardo Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Janpier having to interfere. Humberto Txanton hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Potrero FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
