The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Samuel Abancens notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sijes's Cesar Diegotxe. Cesar Diegotxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Nesor's late challenge caught a Sijes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Nesor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Vicente Nesor hit a great ball. Rolando Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Fidencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Diegotxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 洪誉明 in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Diegotxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Cornelio Louis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Godoy. That made the score 1-2 in the 29 minute of play. 洪誉明 hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Raul Jayvier lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Raul Jayvier kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores's zone, Eusebio Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Godoy came out of the goal and Eusebio Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tantalos Pispinis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Gladiadores fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tantalos Pispinis couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Sijes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Eusebio Tristan hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Tantalos Pispinis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Diegotxe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cesar Diegotxe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Samuel Abancens went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Tomás Urre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Godoy. Gladiadores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Urre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Carmelo Eyague charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Eyague the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Gladiadores's zone, Basilio Abechuco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Godoy came out of the goal and Basilio Abechuco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Samuel Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Godoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The supporters of Gladiadores booed when Sijes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samuel Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Cesar Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Godoy having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Tantalos Pispinis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Tantalos Pispinis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Diegotxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Gladiadores players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
