Marcial Martxel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Bordat having to make a save. After some careless play in the Barranqueras defense, Denis Anaya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Bordat. The Barranqueras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Bordat should have stopped the shot. Marcial Martxel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Sur Granate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Remigio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantino Ugaitz. Aleksander Porajewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Bordat having to make a save. 23 minutes into the game, Aleksander Porajewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcos Bordat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Elia in the 29th minute of play forced Sur Granate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Sur Granate FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Turi. If Marcial Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sur Granate FC defense, Gilberto Lastur kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adrian Remigio. The Sur Granate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adrian Remigio should have stopped the shot. After 41 minutes, Rogelio Kismi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barranqueras and the Sur Granate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barranqueras's Rogelio Kismi got a free kick in the 41st minute. Marcos Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Anaya in the 43rd minute of the match. Anibal Fonso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes of play, Sur Granate FC's Denis Anaya made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Bordat was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The wind increased when Denis Anaya made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sur Granate FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Ugaitz came free, but Adrian Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 56 minutes, Marcial Martxel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sur Granate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Martxel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vicente Turi came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Sur Granate FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Turi couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Barranqueras getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leon Victoro hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Lastur in the 65th minute of play forced Sur Granate FC's goalkeeper Adrian Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sur Granate FC's Sebastian Pacorro suffered a sore thigh after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Sur Granate FC's Wilfredo Bernal was substituted for Sebastian Pacorro. Adrian Remigio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban Elia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adrian Remigio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Ekaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Sur Granate FC's Denis Anaya got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcial Martxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Felo during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Sur Granate FC booed when Barranqueras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Felo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute, Gilberto Lastur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sur Granate FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
