A sloppy throw-in by Alfredo Lauaxeta in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fadetoblack's Horacio Txatxu. Leo Herrera in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Feliberto Vermudo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Quijano's Feliberto Vermudo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Quijano from getting a goal against them. Feliberto Vermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Vermudo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Leo Herrera sent off a good shot on target. After 26 minutes Quijano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casimiro Polentzi who took care of the corner kick. Casimiro Polentzi made a great header on Fadetoblack's corner, it was just that Quijano's Feliberto Vermudo managed to reach the ball for a save. Rene Ekaitz hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Leo Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Quijano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Aurken to maneuver through the defense. If Alonzo Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Fadetoblack's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Aurken came free, but Javier Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

A hard shot by Rene Ekaitz from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Javier Truylos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Martin Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Truylos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Tanio in the 75th minute. Eriberto Fonso hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Martin Aurken struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Javier Truylos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quijano. Javier Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Aurken in the 88th minute of play. Casimiro Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Javier Truylos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Fonso in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Aurken in the 96th minute of play forced Fadetoblack's goalkeeper Javier Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quijano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
