Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haroldo Quinton started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Azopardo FC's Ezequiel Duarte threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carolo Cordaro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 7 minutes, Ladislao Llanos made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Azopardo FC's Amado Barea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Azopardo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Quinton came free, but Amado Barea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Barea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Quinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 21 played minutes Leicester City got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Llanos. Azopardo FC's Godfredo Orlo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carolo Cordaro spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Leicester City's goal. Ezequiel Duarte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Cordaro's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Amado Barea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Quinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Amado Barea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Hegoi went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If Haroldo Quinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Quinton struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Amado Barea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leicester City. In the 47th minute, Osvaldo Ganix sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Azopardo FC's Amado Barea didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Carolo Cordaro made the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Aureliano Hegoi put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Amado Barea. Carolo Cordaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ezequiel Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, Azopardo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Orlo to maneuver through the defense. When Carolo Cordaro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Azopardo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Cordaro couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Orlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Duarte having to interfere. Leicester City's Ezequiel Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Orlo in the 79th minute of play. Carolo Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Haroldo Quinton got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Leicester City getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Silvio Ruy hit a great ball. Leicester City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
