An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Hitz in the 38th minute of play forced Murciélagos's goalkeeper Nicolas Bertol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Santiago Sidoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Freddy Hitz in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Bertol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilfredo Duardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Bertol having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Sidoro to strike the kick off in the second half. Florencio Argi might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ildefonso Isias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Argi ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th match minute, Murciélagos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Sidoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Santiago Sidoro made a precise shot to the right of Ildefonso Isias. Piquete's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ildefonso Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Argi in the 66th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes Piquete got a freekick which was hit by Freddy Hitz. After a defensive mix-up in Piquete's zone, Santiago Sidoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Isias came out of the goal and Santiago Sidoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
