After a rather tough play, Nepes FC's Alberto Mateo got a free kick in the 55th minute. 66 minutes into the match, La Rosa F.C.'s Baldomero Gar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Cordarell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ceferino Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Hegoi's late challenge caught a La Rosa F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. La Rosa F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Gar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes in the game, Arturo Eder fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isaac Cordarell having to interfere. The Nepes FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
