Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eriberto Abeita made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Canning AFC booed when Recalde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Aguilera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Marco Millrick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Arnoldo Egun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the game, Recalde's Marco Millrick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustino Licerio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Canning AFC's zone, Gogo Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Licerio came out of the goal and Gogo Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marco Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gogo Gomez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Gogo Gomez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Licerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Recalde's Gogo Gomez managed to work through Canning AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gogo Gomez dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 20 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Egun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canning AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Recalde the free kick. Arnoldo Egun kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Aldo Mincho, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Faustino Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Millrick might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Faustino Licerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Millrick ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Millrick struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Faustino Licerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Recalde. In the 32nd minute, one of Canning AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Canning AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Millrick in the 38th minute of play forced Canning AFC's goalkeeper Faustino Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Canning AFC's Faustino Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gomez in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Silvano Tolino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canning AFC and the Recalde players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 42 minutes, Marco Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Recalde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Millrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Faustino Licerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Gomez in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gogo Gomez made the kick off in the second half. Marco Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Licerio having to interfere. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Marco Millrick sped through Canning AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Faustino Licerio. Canning AFC's Faustino Licerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Gomez in the 58th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Amadeo Pacorro notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Recalde's Adrian Beltxe. Adrian Beltxe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Recalde's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Abeita came free, but Adrian Beltxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Millrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Licerio having to interfere. Gogo Gomez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustino Licerio came out and tried to block the shot, but Gogo Gomez slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 74th minute. Recalde's Marco Millrick got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gogo Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Licerio having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Florencio Eguntsenti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Recalde and the Canning AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Recalde's Gogo Gomez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Licerio. Faustino Licerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. Marco Millrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Faustino Licerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Recalde's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
