Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedicto Merexildo started the match with the kick off. La Plata FC's Alfonso Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save La Plata FC from getting a goal against them. When Gavino Hulberto fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Plata FC's protests and gave Gavino Hulberto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to La Plata FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. The tension between the La Plata FC and the Lagartony players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Plata FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 14 minutes, Lagartony's Juan Mendiko got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfonso Tab. After a defensive mix-up in La Plata FC's zone, José Antonio Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Tab came out of the goal and José Antonio Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Lagartony's José Antonio Palacio got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melchor Teyo's late challenge caught a Lagartony's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melchor Teyo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute, Melchor Teyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonso Tab made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Dave Baur sent off a good shot on target. José Antonio Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Tab having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Antonio Palacio to make the kick off. When Mauro Maria came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Lagartony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauro Maria couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Tab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Baur's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute José Antonio Palacio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the La Plata FC defense, José Antonio Palacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Tab. The La Plata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Tab should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Maria in the 68th minute of play forced La Plata FC's goalkeeper Alfonso Tab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Manuel Pacorro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Teyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Octavio Giro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Pacorro had several of the Lagartony's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 76 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Octavio Giro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Manuel Pacorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Giro having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, La Plata FC's Manuel Pacorro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Giro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Octavio Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pacorro in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Lagartony's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Pacorro came free, but Octavio Giro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lagartony's Octavio Giro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Pacorro in the 93rd minute of play. Octavio Giro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Pacorro in the 94th minute of the match. Lagartony's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
