The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Bartolo Koldobika ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Lindqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Celestino Koldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club de Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Bartolo Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lindqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Celestino Koldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natalio Micael in the 18th minute of play. Natalio Micael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Celestino Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Octavio Breogan during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Racing Club de Avellaneda getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Octavio Breogan hit a great ball. Natalio Micael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Koldo having to interfere. Celestino Koldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Koldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Micael in the 34th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Racing Club de Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Koldobika. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Estevez in the 41st minute of play forced Racing Club de Avellaneda's goalkeeper Celestino Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Fagerberg took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Koldo. Celestino Koldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Urbez to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Alfonso Urbez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club de Avellaneda and the Los Carasucias players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Carasucias booed when Racing Club de Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harry Fagerberg in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Koldo saved Racing Club de Avellaneda from getting behind. The Los Carasucias fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Los Carasucias's Harry Fagerberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celestino Koldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Mincho in the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Bernardo Estevez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Carasucias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Los Carasucias's Alex Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Urbez in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Racing Club de Avellaneda players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Carasucias.
