The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Raymond got free with Donato Rufio in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the game, Cosme Che was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cangallo the free kick. Cosme Che kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Cangallo getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Edgard Shantala hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Maximino Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Bermund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Rufio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cangallo's Donato Rufio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Cangallo from getting a goal against them. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cangallo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! 1-0 came in the 26th minute when Victoriano Behe all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Donato Rufio. Alfonso Matxin hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jose Raymonds short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Donato Rufio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Donato Rufio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jose Raymond kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 35thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Cangallo's keeper Donato Rufio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After a rather tough play, SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's Humberto Dorio got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Jose Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's Jose Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Rufio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Raymond struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Donato Rufio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE. Jose Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Rufio having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alfonso Matxin made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE booed when Cangallo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Bermund struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Donato Rufio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE. Hermengildo Monico hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Matxin in the 60th minute of play forced SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Lucio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Cosme Che hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE's Lucio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Matxin in the 68th minute of play. Donato Rufio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Raymond in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Jose Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Bermund in the 74th minute of play forced Cangallo's goalkeeper Donato Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jose Raymond kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Lucio Gaitan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Botello hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Edgard Shantala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lucio Gaitan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cosme Che lost his temper 96 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 95th minute, one of SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SITCOM II - RIVER PLATE. Jairo Sabino placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
