Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ardiles's German Osasun started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ion Mahonea charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ion Mahonea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ardiles's Ion Mahonea got a free kick in the 6th minute. Agustin Kemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Palmitas's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Mahonea came free, but Agustin Kemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 34 minutes, German Osasun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardiles and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Ardiles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Kemen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of German Osasun's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Osasun in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustin Kemen saved Palmitas from getting behind. A collision led to Ardiles getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. German Osasun hit a great ball. In the 44th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Terris to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ardiles's Lucio Iban got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 48th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
