The coaching staff of Club Atlético Banfield protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manuel Oinaz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jonas Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Bela having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Jonas Abecia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddy Bela. Jonas Abecia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 28th minute Emiliano Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Hunfredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonas Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Club Atlético Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Medardo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jonas Abecia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Banfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Abecia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Bela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruperto Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Restu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Atlético Banfield's Ruperto Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Vermudo in the 43rd minute of play. Ladislao Santos took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Hunfredo. Ruperto Hunfredo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Abecia to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lino Libertad dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruperto Hunfredo, 1-3. Club Atlético Banfield's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ladislao Santos 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Ruperto Hunfredo was a little too slow when Emiliano Vermudo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-5. The corner ended in Remigio Valente almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but juampy f.c.'s Freddy Bela did a great save. Hermengildo Astrada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Freddy Bela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Ladislao Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ruperto Hunfredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonas Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Bela having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing juampy f.c. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
