When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Steven made a kick off. Independiente de burzaco's Ezequiel Umea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Independiente de burzaco from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Domenec struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Clemente Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente de burzaco. Ernesto Domenec took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Pierres. Clemente Pierres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Independiente de burzaco fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Olympic F.C.'s Faustino Tauro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ezequiel Umea. If Venancio Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Domenec in the 70th minute of play. If Ernesto Domenec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Domenec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Independiente de burzaco booed when Olympic F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Tajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Umea having to interfere. Olympic F.C.'s Clemente Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Domenec in the 92nd minute of play. When Ernesto Domenec came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Independiente de burzaco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Domenec couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Independiente de burzaco failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
