Armando Raymon hit a great ball. Pertti Nutikka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Palben in the 7th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Armando Raymon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taieres's Natalio Bartuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Bartuelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Armando Raymon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natalio Bartuelo. Taieres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Raymon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Pertti Nutikka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Intxixu in the 18th minute of the match. Pertti Nutikka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Palben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Raymon in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Bartuelo saved Taieres from getting behind. Edgardo Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pertti Nutikka having to interfere. After 27 played minutes DON BENITO got a freekick which was hit by Israel Rojelio. After having played for 30 minutes, Aldo Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DON BENITO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Quirce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Taieres's Edgardo Palben got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 35 minutes, Armando Raymon made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Taieres's Natalio Bartuelo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Natalio Bartuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 44 played minutes Taieres got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Rencio. When Roque Telmo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the DON BENITO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roque Telmo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Armando Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. DON BENITO's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Bartuelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half DON BENITO were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Palben was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Palben in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pertti Nutikka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Raymon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Natalio Bartuelo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 67 played minutes Taieres got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Rencio. Roque Telmo didn't quite understand what happened when in the 69 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Edgardo Palben sped through DON BENITO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pertti Nutikka. 76 minutes into the match, Edgardo Palben had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pertti Nutikka. DON BENITO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Palben was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After a rather tough play, Taieres's Maximino Rencio got a free kick in the 80th minute. Natalio Bartuelo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roque Telmo. The supporters of DON BENITO booed when Taieres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Goiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taieres were furious when Jacobo Paul was red carded, 85 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taieres! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DON BENITO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
