Spectators: 7 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Médanos AFC's Marcelino Tavio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Joaquin's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Maiorga came free, but Jonathan Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Club Atletico Joaquin booed when Médanos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Alex Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Médanos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Hammarbäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Chico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Médanos AFC's Marcelino Tavio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Chico made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Simão Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Cecilio Guzman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Javiero having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Médanos AFC's goalkeeper Maximino Javiero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Urtsua. After 25 minutes Médanos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelino Otsoa who took care of the corner kick. Nicolas Mercurio took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Chico. Jonathan Chico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Alex Hammarbäck came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Médanos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Hammarbäck couldn't finish the play. 34 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Joaquin's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Hammarbäck came free, but Jonathan Chico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Urtsua to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Simão Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58thth minute of the game Ramon Urtsua who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Médanos AFC's Maximino Javiero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Chico didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Tavio went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Tavio in the 63rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Joaquin's goalkeeper Jonathan Chico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Otsoa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Gorbea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Chico. Bonifacio Gorbea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Alex Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jonathan Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Tavio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Chico was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Maiorga got free with Jonathan Chico in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 87th minute Adolfo Timo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Joaquin's goalkeeper Jonathan Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Hammarbäck. After a rather tough play, Médanos AFC's Nicolas Mercurio got a free kick in the 91st minute. Jonathan Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Tavio, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Alex Hammarbäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Chico having to interfere. When the match was over Médanos AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Joaquin throughout the match.
