A collision led to Riocuartenses Unidos F.C getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Emanuel Lamberto hit a great ball. Alfonso Oier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Birjaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 57 played minutes Riocuartenses Unidos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Lino Vistruario. Medio Pelo's José Pinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Medio Pelo from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Oier might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Birjaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Oier ran back to his position shaking his head. Gonzalo Chucho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes of play Medio Pelo's Pastor Naike was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Albano Paublo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Omar Perpinya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riocuartenses Unidos F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Perpinya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Medio Pelo's José Pinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Chucho in the 74th minute of play. Baldomiro Birjaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Medio Pelo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
