Alfredo Fernado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Saturnin went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Palomas defense, Aaron Rameriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Porfirio. The Palomas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Porfirio should have stopped the shot. Palomas's Arnoldo Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Guedes in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Palomas's goalkeeper Arnoldo Porfirio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Rameriz. 14 minutes into the match, Tostão Guedes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnoldo Porfirio, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Fresco in the 21st minute of play forced Peguahó FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justino Raymon's late challenge caught a Palomas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Raymon helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Fresco in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Fresco in the 31st minute of play forced Peguahó FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Anselmo Fresco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Fernado. Peguahó FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anselmo Fresco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palomas's goalkeeper Arnoldo Porfirio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aaron Rameriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Porfirio having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Rameriz made a kick off. Alfredo Fernado made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tadeo Saturnin sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes into the game, Anselmo Fresco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palomas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peguahó FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Palomas's Anselmo Fresco got a free kick in the 60th minute. Peguahó FC's Alfredo Fernado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Peguahó FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th match minute, Palomas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Elija to maneuver through the defense. If Amancio Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palomas's Arnoldo Porfirio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tostão Guedes in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Palomas's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Guedes came free, but Arnoldo Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tostão Guedes struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Arnoldo Porfirio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peguahó FC. Arnoldo Porfirio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriana Jordy in the 76th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Palomas got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Gerazan. In the 87th minute, Tostão Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Fernado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Gerazan in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Sidro in the 90th minute of play forced Peguahó FC's goalkeeper Alfredo Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Palomas getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ciriaco Goito hit a great ball. Although Peguahó FC had been in control for most of the match, Palomas still came away with the win.
