After some careless play in the Universitario FC defense, Ciro Maiorga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victorino Musko. The Universitario FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victorino Musko should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Palominos FC's Faustino Jaunti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Musko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Flavio Bernebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Ciro Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palominos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Victorino Musko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Maiorga, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Fulgencio Cristos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
