The supporters of Tortugas booed when Prison Break was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliberto Ignatius didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Sixto Lizar from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Oscar Quico's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Ofelio to make the kick off. After 77 minutes, Marcelo Chorache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prison Break and the Tortugas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Damian Rocendo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tortugas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience was convinced that Adrian Lando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Quico was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tortugas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Prison Break had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
