Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silverio Maria started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Evelio Gilen threw the ball into play from the sideline. I.Rivadavia's Celedonio Rosalio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, I.Rivadavia's Teofilo Lon got a free kick in the 9th minute. Faustino Rudolfo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Faustino Rudolfo got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Gimena. Zacarias Senon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Gerardo Ler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faustino Rudolfo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Siro Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacarias Senon having to interfere. Bernabe Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A hard shot 23 in the game by Faustino Rudolfo from a close distance when the talented Gerardo Ler managed to make a qualified save. I.Rivadavia's players were relieved. Zacarias Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Sotil in the 29th minute of play. Zacarias Senon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siro Sotil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Sotil in the 32nd minute of play forced Gimena's goalkeeper Zacarias Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gimena's Váldson Valladares got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, I.Rivadavia's Gerardo Ler got control of the ball when Faustino Rudolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gimena's Zacarias Senon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Sotil in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Sotil in the 39th minute of play forced Gimena's goalkeeper Zacarias Senon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gimena getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Váldson Valladares hit a great ball. Siro Sotil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Zacarias Senon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zacarias Senon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Sotil's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Juan Xabat hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Rudolfo to make the kick off. Gimena's Zacarias Senon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Sotil in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Ramos in the 61st minute of play forced I.Rivadavia's goalkeeper Gerardo Ler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Váldson Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimena's supporters rose to their feet, but Váldson Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Ler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, I.Rivadavia's Silverio Maria dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 71st minute Faustino Rudolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Siro Sotil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacarias Senon was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Zacarias Senon was a little too slow when Silverio Maria got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-3. 93 minutes into the match, I.Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Ramos came free, but Gerardo Ler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of I.Rivadavia booed when Gimena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Buinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zacarias Senon was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Siro Sotil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Siro Sotil really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The I.Rivadavia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing I.Rivadavia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
