Ermegildo Otsando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Maurin in the 22nd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Maurin was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Aldo Maurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Aldo Maurin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermegildo Otsando. Aldo Maurin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Diagora FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
