Belgrano cba's Roque Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Joey in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of Belgrano cba booed when Club San Marcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimir Azevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club San Marcos's Manuel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Roldan in the 9th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Club San Marcos got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Lartaun. Orlando Orland received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Santana came out and tried to block the shot, but Orlando Orland slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Roque Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Belgrano cba booed when Club San Marcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Joey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Danilo Roldan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Santana was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 30th minute, Belgrano cba's Orlando Orland ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Santana. Manuel Santana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Orlando Orland could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Manuel Santana however easily saved by the left post. In the 35th minute Danilo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes Belgrano cba got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Diegotxe. After a rather tough play, Club San Marcos's Eulalio Lartaun got a free kick in the 39th minute. Manuel Santana made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Orlando Orland sent off a good shot on target. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emiliano Joey made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Roldan in the 53rd minute of play forced Club San Marcos's goalkeeper Manuel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Belgrano cba:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club San Marcos:s goal. Belgrano cba:s Roque Nerio showed great skill when he stopped Nestor Aguilera:s penalty. In the 59th minute, Nestor Aguilera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roque Nerio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Manuel Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Orland in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Antonio Polo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Freddy Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Naike fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Santana having to interfere. Ermegildo Quinten's late challenge caught a Belgrano cba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Quinten helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Belgrano cba booed when Club San Marcos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amancio Diegotxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Manuel Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club San Marcos's Antonio Polo got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute of the game, Astor Montay landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 89 minutes into the game, Orlando Orland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano cba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club San Marcos the free kick. Club San Marcos's Domingos Bartuelo was substituted for Astor Montay. A collision led to Belgrano cba getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Orlando Orland hit a great ball. Freddy Naike took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Santana. Manuel Santana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. There was no doubt that Belgrano cba were the better team. Belgrano cba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
