Malvinas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Maradona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Arnalt might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ernesto Fernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Arnalt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th match minute, Blow Jobers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Rufio to maneuver through the defense. Armando Maradona took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Fernandez. Ernesto Fernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Armando Maradona sped through Blow Jobers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Fernandez. 40 minutes into the game, Elias Lluterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blow Jobers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvinas FC the free kick. Ernesto Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Beltran in the 44th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Maradona got free with Ernesto Fernandez in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vedran Mikulić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Brytan, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Brytan in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vedran Mikulić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blow Jobers's Cesar Ignazio was substituted for Elias Lluterio. Vicente Iruinea hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Arnalt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Fernandez, 0-4. Maximino Conrao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
