When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Erubiel Bortzaioriz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jairo Montrell. Clube Santa Fé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmiro Seguinus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Seguinus in the 62nd minute of the match. Delmiro Seguinus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Angel Frederico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Chamicó's zone, Delmiro Seguinus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Frederico came out of the goal and Delmiro Seguinus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Delmiro Seguinus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chamicó's Angel Frederico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chamicó succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Clube Santa Fé had controlled the match.
