Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gustavo Rios took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Leonel Piorno took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fidel Osmundo to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Carlos Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. atlas's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Club Atlético Belgrano booed when atlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Pello didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Godfredo Clementi fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Belgrano's protests and gave Godfredo Clementi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute Godfredo Clementi suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 21st match minute, atlas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Melo to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlético Belgrano's Erubiel Oliverio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for atlas. In the 26th minute, Club Atlético Belgrano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leonel Piorno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Fidel Osmundo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonel Piorno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. Timoteo Valery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Piornos short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Fidel Osmundo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Leonel Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot. atlas's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Piorno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benicio Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Osmundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Piorno in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Piorno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector Vidal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Carlos Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Osmundo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Melo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59thth minute of the game Leonel Piorno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Belgrano's Fidel Osmundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fidel Osmundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Piorno in the 60th minute of the match. The atlas fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when atlas's Leonel Piorno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 65 minutes, Leonel Piorno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. atlas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Piorno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, atlas's Aristides Pello got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Carlos Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. atlas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Club Atlético Belgrano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Aimar to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Carlos Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. atlas's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Osmundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes of play, atlas's Leonel Piorno made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Osmundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ubaldo Aimar hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Fidel Osmundo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by atlas's Leonel Piorno. But to his dismay, Leonel Piorno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. atlas had played much better football throughout.
