Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nuralp Akbal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Nuralp Akbal. But to his dismay, Nuralp Akbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Birmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuralp Akbal in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Pagos FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Pagos FC's Nuralp Akbal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Nuralp Akbal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. If Maximilian Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Nuralp Akbal sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 25th minute, Nuralp Akbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pagos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Uwe Birmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Nuralp Akbal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Pagos FC's Domingo Chago in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Nuralp Akbal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuralp Akbal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Domingo Chago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Birmes came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uwe Birmes in the 51st minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 53rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Nuralp Akbal put it in 0-10 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. 62 minutes into the match, Domingo Chago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Domingo Chago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Pagos FC made a substitution. Francisco Montae replaced Ionel Mirea. 0-13 became the score in the 66th minute when Christos Bartzokas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Francisco Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Bartzokas got free with Benito Sanz in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Pepe Sabatini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Nuralp Akbal. But to his dismay, Nuralp Akbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-14. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Christos Bartzokas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 81 minute of play. After 84th play minutes Christos Bartzokas shot 0-16, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christos Bartzokas went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-17 was the resulting score. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Mircea Teodor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Nuralp Akbal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-18. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Pagos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
