Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Isaac Tolino kicked off to start the match. Clemente Atauri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Arias came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Atauri slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After a rather tough play, GONZALEZ's Ariel Efren got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 6 played minutes, peñarol FC's Isaac Tolino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Kinsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in peñarol FC reached it. When Orlando Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the peñarol FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Goiz couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, peñarol FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Atauri came free, but Victor Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Goiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Kinsen having to make a save. Victor Arias made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Benedicto Maura sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Isaac Tolino made a precise shot to the right of David Kinsen. GONZALEZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Arixo in the 36th minute of play forced peñarol FC's goalkeeper Victor Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Benedicto Maura could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Victor Arias however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Maura got free with Victor Arias in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 47th match minute, peñarol FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Ixidor to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

53 minutes into the game, Benedicto Maura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Victor Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. peñarol FC's Fabio Urko got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Fabio Urko off the ground. In the 61st minute, Fabio Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Atauri in the 62nd minute of the match. Carlos Arixo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Victor Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GONZALEZ. Remigio Mikeldi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Victor Arias came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by GONZALEZ's Pastor Taurino. But to his dismay, Pastor Taurino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Benedicto Maura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Arias having to interfere. GONZALEZ's David Kinsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save GONZALEZ from getting a goal against them. A collision led to GONZALEZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pastor Taurino hit a great ball. Eusebio Tximitx hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes, Isaias Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the peñarol FC and the GONZALEZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Clemente Atauri came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the GONZALEZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clemente Atauri couldn't finish the play. After having played for 90 minutes, Clemente Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GONZALEZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Taurino in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Atauri in the 95th minute of play forced peñarol FC's goalkeeper Victor Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. peñarol FC's Victor Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Maura in the 96th minute of play. Victor Arias came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by GONZALEZ's Clemente Atauri. But to his dismay, Clemente Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2.
