Bartosz Januszewski took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Oxarra. Isidro Oxarra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 26th minute, Bartosz Januszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudio Telmo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Osoitz was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Aguilera during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes Yaretayo got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Aguilera. Bartosz Januszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Isidro Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bartosz Januszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Bartosz Januszewski made a precise shot to the right of Isidro Oxarra. Yaretayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 75th minute, Damaso Gudesteo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Pibes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Bartosz Januszewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Isidro Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Pibes's Luizão Breckenfeld was substituted for Damaso Gudesteo. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Angelo Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pibes's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Resto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Oxarra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Iigo hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Yaretayo's Benjamin Otsando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geronimo Gonzales. That made the score 6-1 after 97 minutes of play.
