After a defensive mix-up in Banda Norte's zone, Rigoberto Jerold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Duarte came out of the goal and Rigoberto Jerold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Jerold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Jerolds short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Francisco Duarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Huinganco's Robustiano Cresitobalo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venerando Aguilar in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Rigoberto Jerold made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Jerold during the 53rd minute. In the 76th minute Venerando Aguilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Cresitobalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Huinganco's goalkeeper Robustiano Cresitobalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venerando Aguilar. Banda Norte were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
