Salvador Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Salvador Artal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Potrerillo FC's Gregorio Eladio. Gregorio Eladio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severiano Kaxen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Potrerillo FC's Gregorio Eladio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Artal in the 13th minute of play. Natalio Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gregorio Eladio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Potrerillo FC's Gregorio Eladio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Potrerillo FC from getting a goal against them. After 23 played minutes Potrerillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Denis Truylos. Ismael Burni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico San Manuel's Natalio Vargas got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atletico San Manuel defense, Ismael Burni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Rainerio. The Club Atletico San Manuel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Rainerio should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Burni in the 31st minute of play. Natalio Vargas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Severiano Kaxen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gregorio Eladio came out and tried to block the shot, but Severiano Kaxen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 35th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Narciso Nuno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potrerillo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Nuno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marciano Batista hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gregorio Eladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salvador Artal went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ismael Burni made a kick off. If Salvador Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Ismael Burni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Rainerio. Club Atletico San Manuel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Burni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Uriel Madeo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Madeo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Gilbert Andryszyn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Potrerillo FC's Gregorio Eladio didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico San Manuel's Natalio Vargas got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Club Atletico San Manuel getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alberto Tonete hit a great ball. Filomeno Rainerio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Nuno in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute Salvador Artal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Narciso Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natalio Vargas charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natalio Vargas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Atletico San Manuel getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Natalio Vargas hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Erubiel Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Nuno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Rainerio having to interfere. Gregorio Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute, Narciso Nuno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Potrerillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
