Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Iguazú's Gogo Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Gotzon in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Ferré AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Berasko came free, but Marciano Jaen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Iguazú's zone, Filiberto Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Bernat came out of the goal and Filiberto Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gogo Bernat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Gogo Bernat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Feliu went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th match minute, Iguazú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Ixaka to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Ferré AFC's Amadeo Jatsu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Iguazú fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Filiberto Gotzon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gogo Bernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aristides Rutenio in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Bernat saved Iguazú from getting behind. Aristides Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 39th minute, Aristides Rutenio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gogo Bernat was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ferré AFC's Filiberto Gotzon got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aristides Rutenio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tobias Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferré AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Sarracino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Bernat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ferré AFC's Aristides Rutenio in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iguazú's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Iguazú's goalkeeper Gogo Bernat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Rutenio couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Goren hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Amadeo Jatsu, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Iguazú's Gervasio Goren suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ruperto Feliu's late challenge caught a Iguazú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruperto Feliu helped the player get up and apologised. After 73 played minutes Ferré AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Feliu. Filiberto Gotzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Bernat having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Rutenio in the 90th minute of play forced Iguazú's goalkeeper Gogo Bernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Aristides Rutenio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferré AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Rutenio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filiberto Gotzon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Gogo Bernat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match was over Ferré AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Iguazú throughout the match.
