An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Quirce in the 8th minute of play forced Messi de Troya FC's goalkeeper Dante Kismi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 9 in the game by Sebastian Nesor from a close distance when the talented Dante Kismi managed to make a qualified save. Messi de Troya FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Arnoldo Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Messi de Troya FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Afonso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Leizarraga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnulfo Bertol in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Leizarraga saved Mercedes from getting behind. In the 14th match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Quirce to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Messi de Troya FC booed when Mercedes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Ereinotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Transito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Leizarraga. Mercedes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Eustaquio Ilazki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Leizarraga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Arnulfo Bertol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mercedes's Clemente Leizarraga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Freddy Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Quirce in the 23rd minute of play. Dante Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Quirce in the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Aquilino Quirce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Dante Kismi managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Mercedes's Sebastian Nesor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Clemente Leizarraga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnulfo Bertol's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Bertol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Nesor in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Arnulfo Bertol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mercedes's Rene Ereinotz got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Messi de Troya FC's zone, Aquilino Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Kismi came out of the goal and Aquilino Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Afonso in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Eustaquio Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Messi de Troya FC's Dante Kismi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Quirce in the 68th minute of play. Arnoldo Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Leizarraga having to interfere. Aquilino Quirce hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Messi de Troya FC's Arnulfo Bertol in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mercedes's goalie prevented a goal. Aquilino Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Afonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Messi de Troya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes the free kick. Arnoldo Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Chants of Messi de Troya FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mercedes had held the ball for most of the match.
