The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 16 played minutes ColoRock FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Baraquiel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Santos in the 18th minute of play forced ColoRock FC's goalkeeper Melchor Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Tonete charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santos Tonete the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 20 played minutes ColoRock FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Tonete. 28 minutes into the match, Jacinto Marko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Romano. ColoRock FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Marko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Marcelino Goyo put in a rough tackle. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for F.C OldEscoos. Raimundo Santos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Melchor Romano. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Orzaize in the 39th minute of play forced ColoRock FC's goalkeeper Melchor Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gonzalo Di Piazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

After a rather tough play, ColoRock FC's Carlos Telo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Melchor Romano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Orzaize in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes ColoRock FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Telo. 60 minutes into the game, ColoRock FC's Gonzalo Di Piazza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Ranolfo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 64 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Di Piazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Inocencio Ranolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonzalo Di Piazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes F.C OldEscoos got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Odilon. If Emanuel Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, ColoRock FC's goalkeeper Melchor Romano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Ilixo. Melchor Romano made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Claudio Orzaize sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th match minute, ColoRock FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Tonete to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Ilixo in the 81st minute of play forced ColoRock FC's goalkeeper Melchor Romano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Di Piazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Inocencio Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gonzalo Di Piazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C OldEscoos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
