Stevie-Ray Gerrard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Erramun in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute Victorino Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victorino Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Frutos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevie-Ray Gerrard in the 24th minute. Stevie-Ray Gerrard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Frutos having to interfere. Placido Frutos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevie-Ray Gerrard in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, MATAMBRE's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Obeko came free, but Placido Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victorino Erramun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Anastasio Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Urko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Tabb in the 36th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When Gervasio Gai fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morales FC's protests and gave Gervasio Gai a yellow card for diving instead. Gervasio Gai hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorino Erramun kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anastasio Urko. That made the score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. Victorino Erramun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Ruperto Obeko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Frutos. MATAMBRE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruperto Obeko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 73rd match minute, MATAMBRE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Segio to maneuver through the defense. Severino Arotza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anastasio Urko having to interfere. With his leg Anastasio Urko managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when MATAMBRE's Isaias Adrio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Placido Frutos came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Morales FC's Gervasio Gai. But to his dismay, Gervasio Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 84 minutes of play, Morales FC's Stevie-Ray Gerrard made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Frutos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Morales FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MATAMBRE for a fine match.
