Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eloy Perutxo kicked off to start the match. With an all-out effort, Gómez's Serafino Abastas threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benito Urtungo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 3rd match minute, Bowen AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. After 5 played minutes Gómez got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Fonda. When Teodosio Umbruso fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bowen AFC's protests and gave Teodosio Umbruso a yellow card for diving instead. Teodosio Umbruso hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 7 played minutes Gómez got a freekick which was hit by Federico Poz. After a defensive mix-up in Bowen AFC's zone, Guillermo Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Abastas came out of the goal and Guillermo Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Poz in the 15th minute of play forced Bowen AFC's goalkeeper Serafino Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Guillermo Refugio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafino Abastas, 1-0. Serafino Abastas made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Guillermo Refugio sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Bowen AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guillermo Refugio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Gómez booed when Bowen AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Santio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillermo Refugio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serafino Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Federico Poz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Abastas. Bowen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Poz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Serafino Abastas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benito Urtungo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. After 37 minutes of play, Gómez's Benito Urtungo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Guillermo Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Refugio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Guillermo Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Gómez's Rodolfo Argina made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Federico Poz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gómez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Federico Poz in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Guillermo Refugio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Abastas. Bowen AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guillermo Refugio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. Benito Urtungo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Abastas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Armando Marquez was a little too slow when Eloy Perutxo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 9-1. Serafino Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Refugio in the 88th minute of the match. Serafino Abastas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Urtungo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. Gómez's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
