Desiderio Handi hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Carolo Cai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Jayvier in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in POCA VIDA's zone, Eugenio Jayvier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Cai came out of the goal and Eugenio Jayvier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute 狄松震 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carolo Cai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Jayvier in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Recoleta's goal looked a bit too open when Tolek Michalski came free, but Roberto Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Cai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Eugenio Jayvier put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carolo Cai. Roberto Tximitx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Björkman in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of POCA VIDA booed when Recoleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Aresti didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Jan-Åke Björkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The POCA VIDA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Jayvier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Recoleta's Roberto Tximitx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Björkman in the 51st minute of play. In the 62nd minute 狄松震 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Cai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in POCA VIDA's zone, Emiliano Txeru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Cai came out of the goal and Emiliano Txeru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Jan-Åke Björkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POCA VIDA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Åke Björkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Åke Björkman in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Tximitx saved Recoleta from getting behind. When Jan-Åke Björkman came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the POCA VIDA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Åke Björkman couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Recoleta getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. 狄松震 hit a great ball. Jan-Åke Björkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Roberto Tximitx made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, POCA VIDA's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Hegoi came free, but Carolo Cai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Cai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Jayvier, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the POCA VIDA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Recoleta.
