Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antonio Min in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo Manny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Talita AFC defense, Ubaldo Resto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Manny. The Talita AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Manny should have stopped the shot. The Portugalete fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Portugalete's Antonio Min looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With an all-out effort, Talita AFC's Justo Gelacio threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 石昆平, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Angel Pudes kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Portugalete's goal looked a bit too open when 石昆平 came free, but Justo Gelacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Tulio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Urbano Bastiaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justo Gelacio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Alberto Gaizkine. Justo Gelacio was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Severo Eutor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Severo Eutor really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 石昆平 was the one to do the kick off. Teo Manny made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Antonio Min sent off a good shot on target. Talita AFC's Teo Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Talita AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Severo Eutor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teo Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Min in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Adolfo Aritza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Manny was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Anselmo Theobald hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Aritza in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teo Manny saved Talita AFC from getting behind. Ubaldo Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
