Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Salvador Odol started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Atlas Fc.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Tabb came free, but Teo Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Gonsalve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Odol, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Atlas Fc. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cirilo Salvino hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Filomeno Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Mon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Tabb in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Natalio Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cabinda's zone, Bernardo Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Gonsalve came out of the goal and Bernardo Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natalio Gaueko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teo Mon. Atlas Fc.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Atlas Fc. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cirilo Salvino hit a great ball. In the 37th minute Filomeno Tabb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Mon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Atlas Fc. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Bernardo Ilixo hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Filomeno Tabb cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Teo Mon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlas Fc.'s Bernardo Ilixo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jaime Gonsalve but with some difficulty. After the first half Cabinda were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cirilo Salvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Gonsalve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After 56 played minutes Atlas Fc. got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Quico. 57 minutes into the match, Atlas Fc.'s goalkeeper Teo Mon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabio Quirze. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Tabb in the 59th minute of play forced Atlas Fc.'s goalkeeper Teo Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cabinda getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Natalio Gaueko hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Cabinda got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Tabb. When Cornelio Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlas Fc.'s protests and gave Cornelio Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. Cornelio Abarca hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Odol in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Gonsalve saved Cabinda from getting behind. A collision led to Atlas Fc. getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Angelino Quico hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Tabb in the 80th minute of play forced Atlas Fc.'s goalkeeper Teo Mon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Odol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Gonsalve having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cabinda's zone, Salvador Odol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Gonsalve came out of the goal and Salvador Odol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Atlas Fc. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cabinda to win.
