Scofield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medrano FC the free kick. Medrano FC's Baldomiro Canor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Cruz in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Scofield FC booed when Medrano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes of play, Scofield FC's Mário Cruz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Canor was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Eulalio Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Medrano FC's Enzo Iratxo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Jaime Etxekopar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enzo Iratxo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Virgilio Tano charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Virgilio Tano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Scofield FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Virgilio Tano hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Medrano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Cruz came free, but Baldomiro Canor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Cruz in the 35th minute of play forced Medrano FC's goalkeeper Baldomiro Canor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Suero in the 38th minute of play forced Scofield FC's goalkeeper Jaime Etxekopar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesar Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Medrano FC's zone, Mário Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Canor came out of the goal and Mário Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Perfecto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Eulalio Quinteros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Canor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Cesar Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Canor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cesar Perfecto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th minute, Silvano Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Scofield FC booed when Medrano FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 played minutes Medrano FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Bermund. Baldomiro Canor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Perfecto in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Enzo Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Scofield FC's Cesar Perfecto in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Medrano FC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Medrano FC's Baldomiro Canor got control of the ball when Mário Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Medrano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Perfecto came free, but Baldomiro Canor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, Medrano FC's Enzo Iratxo made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Etxekopar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Medrano FC had won after a very even match.
