A collision led to Cochrane AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Eriberto Papo hit a great ball. When German Peru came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Zapallar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Peru couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Zapallar AFC booed when Cochrane AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. If German Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorino Chayo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Zapallar AFC's Ovidio Enaut. But to his dismay, Ovidio Enaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Angelo Erauso kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Pastor Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapallar AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pastor Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorino Chayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. German Peru in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorino Chayo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cochrane AFC's Victorino Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mazuste in the 38th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Peru to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Peru in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Chayo saved Cochrane AFC from getting behind. Victorino Edur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Zapallar AFC's German Peru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Chayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that German Peru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Chayo was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After having played for 67 minutes, Angelo Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cochrane AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Erauso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zapallar AFC's Romeo Jerardo got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute, Cochrane AFC's Carlos Matia seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Carlos Matia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cochrane AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Carlos Matia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 71 minutes into the game, one of Cochrane AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hugo Mederi charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hugo Mederi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Zapallar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Mederi to maneuver through the defense. When Hugo Mederi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. Zapallar AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
