After 20 minutes of play, Boquerón AFC's Damaso Cuartio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Sansone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Constantino Sansone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Constantino Sansone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Gaizkine in the 26th minute of the match. Hernan Bartolome hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th match minute, Boquerón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Ugutz to maneuver through the defense. If Ubaldo Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Horacio Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Napier having to interfere.
